1976 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description

1976 Mercedes 240D, Beautiful original condition, 240,xxx documented miles. I am the second owner, it was originally bought in Arizona and resided there until approximately 2005 when it came to Idaho. The engine runs beautifully and transmission shifts as it should. Recent work includes, valve adjustment, brand new battery, transmission service, oil change, all new accessory belts, new A/C compressor and receiver drier. A/C system needs one hose repaired to be functional. I have all the service records since brand new. Brakes are superb and tires still have some life left, this car needs absolutely nothing, drive it across country. The headliner is sagging in a foot and a half section near the rear window, there is a small piece of MB Tex missing from the passenger seat, and there are a handful of cracks in the dash. I average between 33-35 MPG and there is no rust aside from some small bubbling near the front passenger fender. Original Becker radio works AM/FM and all service records are included.
