You are bidding on a 1998 Mercedes Benz C43 AMG. 1 of 579 made in '98 with a total of 1500 imported to the US. This example is finished in Brilliant Silver with black leather interior. It has the 4.3L M113 V8 making 302HP mated to an AMG modified 5 speed transmission. Power windows and door locks. Power driver/passenger seats. Heated seats. Sunroof. Bose premium sound system. 17" AMG monoblock wheels. 2 previous owners. First owner owned it until 2009 and 139k miles. Second owner rarely drove the car but always maintained it. California car since new. Clean title/Carfax. No accidents. Original paint. 1 key and original manuals included along with some maintenance receipts.
Overall, this car performs as it should with tons of power and great acceleration! Transmission shifts smooth through all gears. Well maintained. Lots of service history on Carfax report. No overheating. No check engine light. Everything is in working order including the inflatable multi contour lumbar seats. Air conditioning is cold. Interior is in excellent condition for an 18 year old car with no rips or tears. Recently passed California emissions testing.
Some notable flaws: Clear coat is beginning to degrade in various areas. (Hard to see in the pictures). Radio LCD display cannot be read (Radio works great). Sunroof vinyl cover is coming down and needs to be re-glued.
