Up for a sale is a 2003 SL55 AMG with 720xx miles on it, has the hand built 5.5 liter AMG V8 under the hood, car is accident free, and all original, except for a few scratches that i got fixed professionally. This is not a car for those who would like to get a bargain so they can fix whatever is wrong with it,this is a car for someone who wants a car with no problems, a car that he/she can drive without putting any money into it. this car has been well maintained, and had extended warranty, which is good for a couple more months or 120k miles. Never been tracked, abused, or raced. Belonged to a doctor friend of mine who couldn’t really enjoy it because he had cancer, so the car has been always garaged. I bought it after he passed away and I too kept in the garage and took good care of it. Car has no mechanical issues, no ABC issues, no leaks, no battery problems. Paint is shin, headlights are fade free. Leather has no cracks, no oil residue that causes to be shiny, looks like the first day they came out of the factory. Dashboard is crack free, Mercedes Comand screen is free of scratches, all the buttons look new, steering and gear shifter show no sign of age. Car comes with a CTEK Pro battery tender / maintainer. Its the OEM Batter tender for many exotic car manufacturer. I’m not going to sugar coat the SL55 like many other listings d, because I’m sure you know what kinda car it is, and know about it if you find your self bidding on this car, instead i would like you to make sure you are getting a car that has been maintained and cared for, a car with no leaks, no ABC issues, no engine problems, no accidents. Many people complain how these cars are not reliable etc, well its every car, you gotta maintain them, look after them so you can enjoy them without unexpecte, and unwanted repair bills. This car is ready to be enjoyed. I use 0w40 royal purple full synthetic oil every 3000 miles, with K&N Oil filter. Recent oil Analysis shows no signs of antifreeze or wear in the engine, its running like brand new. Most miles are highway miles, or weekend cruising, rarely driven in stop and go traffic as she has been a weekender. Ive driven two other SL55s and I really think this one pulls stronger than the other two I’ve driven, periodic maintenance really makes a difference, you will notice the difference once you are behind the wheel as well. Everyone always compliments how unique the car looks, and nobody believes when i say its a 2003, people also seem to like the rims as they match, and go well with the side and hood vents. I wax it twice a month with a PorterCable with Chemical Guys butter smooth wax, followed by Chemical Guys JetSeal paint sealer, leaves the car with a deep shine that lasts. This car had a price tag over 129k new in 2003, it really is built like a 129k car, drives like one too.

Please bid with confidence, I sold many other mercedeses on here before, and even after so many years those who bought my cars still enjoy them, and we still keep in touch. I would not sell anything I would not buy, I am not going to lie and say I hate to see my SL55 going, I just hope it goes to a good owner who will baby it like I and my friend did, I recently purchased a 1994 Viper RT10 and wife says there is no room for two Convertibles in our garage, She says we need a better SUV with our baby on the way, so I’m selling my SL n our ML, so i can have room for a new SUV. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding. Please do not offer me any low ball offers, or tell me my car is worth this much n that much according KBB, KBB doesn’t price in all the maintenance, all the money I’ve spent on this car, you cant expect to buy an SL55 in this condition from a dealer, or someone else unless they too are automobile enthusiasts like my self. I helped others with shipping before, I can help arrange your shipping as well. Money transfer or Cashier’s Check is fine, deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours after the auction ends, users with feedback less than 5 should contact me prior bidding, car is sold as is with no warranties provided by me, new buyer can pay $100 transfer fee and take over the remaining extended warranty thats provided by the warranty company, which covers the engine, and transmission. Winner will get a fresh oil change, and detail so they can just enjoy driving it.
