1972 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

Here's a fall/winter project for a convertible enthusiast. The car has a clean and clear California title in my name it is currently registered and insured and driven on a regular basis by me. The hard top is removable and I will include a hardtop caddy that you can roll the top round for easy storage the convertible top is medium blue there are three rear plastic windows the passenger side window is cracked out the big window has like a brown turn line in it from the sun but the top other than that it's fine the window is an easy fix but the pictures all show it with the hardtop on. You will also notice that behind the seats in the console is higher I did that to mount rear speakers from the Kenwood stereo and put a traveling compartment built in but I do have the original panel that goes back there in the panel that is in there can easily be removed. I have created a faux shaker hood (hence, the custom license plate), for the car and done some riveting and custom paint I will also include a spoiler which is pre-drilled and fits on the back you will have to mount it.....tires are very good condition, car runs and drives you can drive it home the dash is cracked but I do have a brand-new coverlay to cover the dash, but rather than put the coverlay on, I took pictures of what the dash really looks like but you'll have a cover to make it look brand-new also the carpet on the floor of the driver side will have to be changed that's an easy fix, dark blue remnant carpet will do the trick. PLEASE, take a good look at the pictures I'm selling this car as is where is with no returns and no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied you will get the black and yellow plates with the car along with the hardtop caddy the spoiler and the original back deck carpet. The odometer stopped working but the car runs really well it has a slight oil leak but the car is dependable and again please take a look at the photos you can email me any questions. good luck...... there's no reserve...... the cars ready for a new owner, and if you are a California resident this 1972 does not have a smog requirement one thought I had was to drop a 350 Chevy engine in this but the eight cylinder that is in it performs very well.
