1979 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

This is a 1979 Mercedes-benz 300D
The odometer was replaced at 90,000 miles according to the previous owner and maintenance logs. The odometer currently reads 46,000, which we conservatively estimate leaving the car with around 140,000 miles total.

Recent Maintenance:new fuel filtersrecent oil change (within 100 miles)refurbished passenger rear electric window motor*refurbished and flushed cooling system from a 1983 mercedes 300d Turbo diesel. This includes new hoses, refurbished coolant reservoir, and radiator. This system is an upgrade from the 1979 non turbo system which will keep your engine cool on the hottest summer day.
The Bad:This car shows its age in a few places cosmetically. I've tried to highlight these issues in the photos. There are some rust issues around the rear window, as well as the quarter panel directly behind the front tire an the drivers side.The hood has pretty extensive hail damage as well as a a couple of dents above the headlights due to being backed into (also shown in the photos) **I have an extra hood that is dent free that comes with the car but will need to be painted.**The antenna is broken off but replacements are easy to find and inexpensive.there are a few cracks in the hard plastic interior parts around the door pockets and under dash panels. Ive tried to be as up front and honest in my pictures and description as to the issues you might find upon inspection of the car.brake shoes need replacing.
Over all this is a solid and clean Mercedes. It runs and drives great and is ready to be a daily driver or a weekend ride. All of the Vacuum door locks operate perfectly and all the electric windows operate well. The interior is in great shape considering its age, all the seats are in decent shape with no tears or stains. Please feel free to contact me for any more information or to ask any questions.
