1968 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series Description

1968 250 SE Coupe 4 sp I'm 83 years old so I'm reducing my inventory. This is one fine car. I've been working on cars since i was 15, fix em up, drive them, then sell them. Wish I had every car I ever sold I'd be a multi millionaire now!! I would take this Mercedes across the country in a minute. Motor purrs and runs perfect, clutch master cylinder and slave replaced. High torque starter,all fluids flushed and replaced. Custom cover on transmission tunnel to hide all that heater junk. Radio(not very good radio, lights, instruments,wipers,fans, all work great. 46 years of dings and scratches but as you can see as a cruiser on weekends or daily driver you will get plenty of thumbs up!! Real Coco mats, all new front seat leather, back seats okay but some stitching loose on top but looks fine.Tires almost new but if I where going to keep it I'd put white walls on it and change size to 195x75x15. Runs cold on even the hottest of days oil pressure is good.Rebuilt fuel senso, changed all filters, removed and refurbished fuel pump. Its ready. I drive it to work ( 60 miles round trip) regularly. There maybe a little rust somewhere but if there is I cant see it or find it.Sunroof works,headliner is tight. It's a really good car my play days are over, my loss your gain come get it and drive it home!!!!
