Fist let me clarify that the eBay report says this car has frame damage. I have a professional report that shows the damage (see picture I posted) they are referring to. The car shows an accident in Boca Raton and that was done by a car not paying attention at a red light and rolling into the back of me. The bumper was painted (not even replaced) and that was the extent of the damage. Feel free to email me and I would be happy to send the report I paid $250 for prior to buying the car.

Up for sale is my Mercedes Benz 2009 SLK300. I drove this car through a flooded street as the waters were subsiding and it sucked water into the air intake. The engine will need replacing as it’s Hydro-locked. The water was never over the engine in fact the water didn’t even come up over the door opening and enter the cab. I have spoken to two mechanics and the likelihood of any electronic damage is negligible. I have enclosed pictures to show all the electrical is working and the only problem we can find is the water did hydro-lock the engine.

Reconditioned engines for this car with less miles and a one year warranty cost between $3,500 and $4,500. My mechanic said it’s about $1,500 to put the engine in.

In the last twelve months I have put 4 new struts on the car and it has new 18” Chrome wheels. It has new back pads and rotors and new plastic molding around the back windshield. I just put $700 into fixing all the stone chips and removing all the small door dings.

Other than the hydro-locking of the motor this car is in Pristine Condition. Again water never entered the cabin at any time and the interior is in perfect condition. I am selling it “as is” and the winning bidder will be responsible to pick the car up from my house in Boca Raton Florida 33486. I just shipped a car to Atlanta from Ft Lauderdale for $350 so there are cost effective ways to get this car.

It has a clean title that I hold and will not be required to re-title. Please email me with any questions as I have tons of pictures and videos to share.

I just hooked up a battery booster to the car again and checked every electrical thing I could think of and everything worked including:

RadioStarter SolenoidStarter won't turn engine because it's hydro-lockedTransmission works (it's electronic and won't shift if the computer is broken or the battery is dead)Power Seats
I'm not a mechanic but I'm very confident this car simply needs a new engine and it will be a great deal to someone.
