You are bidding on a rare 2012 Mercedes-Benz Bluetec. Supposedly, only about 300 of these were made in 2012 which was also the final year. The second row has the center console effectively making them captain chairs. This can be seen in picture 7. Recent run-flattires all around. No ripsor tears in any of the seats. Never been smoked in.
Currently, the motor does not run or turn over. It developed a knocking noise and ultimately stopped while running. The buyer will need to be flat bedded out of my driveway. The vehicle has only been Mercedes-Benz serviced with all services records available. Priced out to get the OM642 motor swapped to be around $5800 for the motor and $1700 for installation. This auction is priced accordingly to account for the required motor work. Once repaired, it maybe could be a perfect Uber Black vehicleordaily driver. Have even been accused of being sentimental with thiscar. Veryfond memories of several road trips where thequalities specific to this vehicle (diesel and being built like a tank) made the difference.
Wife is making me sell before buying replacement vehicle. Debating about keeping it just in case MB might have to buy back diesels just like VW. Would just get the motor swapped myself, but do not have the time dueto work travel. Serious inquires only and will work withbuyer to have transported.
