Ready for some top down weather? Experience it in this beautiful 1986 Mercedes Benz 560SL. These cars are really appreciating fast and while there are a few low mileage ones available with a big sticker price this one is a driver that you can enjoy every day. I bought this car from an older gentlemen who had let it sit for a few years in his garage and it needed a little tlc. Now the car has been repainted in its original diamond metallic blue color. Has upgraded AMG wheels with new tires all around. Rebuilt fuel distributor. New fuel pumps (both of them). New fuel filter. New fuel pressure regulator. Recent brakes and shocks. Everything works as it should but ac could use a recharge as it doesn’t blow ice cold. Soft top is in excellent condition. Car also comes with body color matching hard top in great condition with carrier and cover. Interior is in great shape with no rips or tares. Full size spare. This is a great driving car! It still rides as smooth as it was when new. Starts up on first time every time. The car has 222k miles plus or minus. Yes the mileage is high but the Carfax shows the original owner logged most of the miles in the first few years of ownership. I was told the engine was rebuilt with new timing belts at about 190k miles but the prior owner could not produce any paperwork to prove this so I cannot say for sure if it has been rebuilt. This car really does ride like new. Needs nothing but someone who wishes to drive it and enjoy it. I would not hesitate to jump in and drive it cross country. PLEASE NOTE: It has come to my attention that the listing states that there is an issue with the vehicle title. I do not know why it says this as I have a clear VA title in my name with no liens. Secondly the Autocheck feature states the vehicle has suffered sever damage. This is not true. The vehicle was in a minor fender bender at front right but all repairs look very professional and there is no frame damage. The hood is not original but other than that everything else looks to be original and in great shape. I will try and research this further with Autocheck but the Carfax I have on it says minor accident. Thank You,
