1993 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300CE 2-Door CONVERTIBLE Description

Beautiful 1993 300 CE with the classic 3.2 cylinder, 217 HP, straight six. This low production model with folding top will most likely continue to increase in value. This car was purchased in Ohio with and in 2002 bought and registered in Arizona with 32,669 miles. The 2nd owners lived in both Arizona and California. The car spent most of its time in CA. The previous owner removed the original head lights and replaced them with later model lights. I have the original lights that are boxed and will go with the car. There is some white tape over holes where the old headlights attach (see photo). The car drives out beautiful and is very solid, especially for a convertible. The top goes up and down as it should and is in excellent condition. It has a radio, cassette and CD changer in the trunk. It works fine as does the cruise control. There are two heavy duty roll bar type columns behind rear seats that can be put up or down with a switch. The outside temperature gauge does not work. I have not looked into a repair as I do not use. All windows work as does heat and AC. The previous owner found a small leak and had the head gasket replaced in April 2015. At that time spark plugs, coolant hoses to the radiator, coolant and brake fluid was changed. Tires were installed on 1-3-2013 with 51,089 miles. I will give you all the records I have on the car. The interior is in beautiful condition and shows little wear for its age. This car is a beautiful cruiser that goes well when you step down on her. Its a really solid, well built and a heavy car. It comes with original books, records and original brochure. I will answer questions ASAP. Shipping is buyer's responsibility. If you want a pre-purchase inspection I will take it to the shop of your choice in Colorado Springs. You pay for the inspection. These 124 series cars are very well designed and constructed. They are very reliable, handle beautifully, ride terrific and have a usable back seat and trunk. Other standard features are all power options, ABS/4 wheel disc brakes. They are also the first luxury cars to have a self storing power convertible top and an automatic metal "boot" cover. Another luxury feature are the automatic seat belt extenders. The six cylinder motor is one of the best ever made by Mercedes.
