We are selling a 2003 Mercedes CL55 ///AMG that came to us via new car dealership trade.

This Mercedes CL55 ///AMG is in extremely well kept condition. It is obvious that it was garage kept and the previous owner took pride in their vehicle. The car starts right up, and runs and drives perfectly. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop well. And it runs down the road straight. This car has good miles for its age and it’s in better condition than most 3-4 year old cars I see on a regular basis. We are a wholesaler and make our living buying and selling cars through the dealer auctions. We only retail the best, cleanest units we get to the public. Do not let the miles fool you, this car runs and drives like one with less than half the miles!

This is an extremely rare vehicle. There were only 500 were imported to the US in 2003 by Mercedes Benz. The engines were hand built by AMG. It is finished in a beautiful and elegant Silver finish, with a stunning black leather interior. It is very clean and there are no stains. This particular example has only traveled 58,100 miles in its pampered life. It is one of the lowest miles, nicest examples in the country.

This car is the automotive version of Arnold Schwarzenegger in an Armani tuxedo. It’s a confident head-turner, with a hint of the formidable muscle underneath the beautiful tailoring. That’s the CL55 AMG.

The CL500 Coupe on which it’s based is no slouch to begin with. A 5.0-liter/302-horsepower/339 lb-ft V-8 moves the two-ton pillarless hardtop with ease. The naturally aspirated ’02 CL55 engine delivered a 50-horsepower bonus over that. But the ’03 AMG version kicks things up almost 200 notches. The addition of an intercooled screw-type supercharger and a slightly longer stroke results in 5.5 liters, 493 horsepower, and 516 lb-ft of torque. Compare those numbers to your ultimate American or German production sports car. This is serious pavement-buckling, addictive-sound-like-you’ve-never-heard-before kind of performance–all from a bank-vault-solid premium luxury coupe. Mercy.

Being the top of the line in personal luxury coupes the CL55 is absolutely loaded - The car features power windows, power door locks, power windows, power antilock brakes, ICE COLD air conditioning, AM/FM/CD/Aux Bose Stereo System with Navigation. The perfectly bolstered perforated leather seats are heated/ventilated and feature dynamic bolsters with massage. The car is equipped with comfort access, just keep your key in your pocket, walk up unlock the door, sit in the pilot’s seat and get ready for the ride of your life.

All this brawn is reined in by sophisticated technology. The handbuilt eight cylinder engine. features a Bosch engine-management system that monitors engine load and speed and calculates when to activate an electromagnetic clutch for the supercharger’s drive belt. Under light loads, the engine operates as a naturally aspirated unit. Under acceleration, and full-time above 2700 rpm, the supercharger seamlessly engages to deliver a maximum 11.6 psi of boost.

A stainless-steel, 2.75-inch four-cat dual-exhaust system efficiently scavenges all that air and lends the car its signature voice. Behind this potent mill is an electronically controlled five-speed automatic, upgraded to AMG status. The SpeedShift programming delivers 35-percent-quicker shifts, with gear changes manually controllable from two steering-wheel-mounted buttons. Mercedes’ ABC active suspension and ESP stability-control systems also are programmed with a more spirited AMG calibration. Bigger 18-inch Z-rated tires and larger, cross-drilled brake discs with eight-piston front calipers (shared with the V-12 CL600) complete the ground-hugging hardware.

There are no check engine lights, strange noises or fluid leaks. The engine is quiet, smooth and powerful. These Jeeps are great reliable cars. The four-wheel drive system is legendary and provides sure footed traction regardless of the weather conditions. They are legendary off road vehicles and are highly sought after.

This particular car will make a safe and reliable, fun weekend car.

We ran this car through our shop and addressed any mechanical issues.

Now every used car has its cosmetic flaws – otherwise it wouldn’t be used! Here is what our inspection has revealed:

• Few small scuffs on the underside of the front bumper from rubbing the curb
• Left side skirt with scuff mark – minor
• Right side skirt with somewhat more prominent scuff but not visible at standing height
• Few superficial scratches on the right rear quarter panel
• Front bumper with some stone chips
• Interior – small perforation damage on the passenger front seat and rear center console with small nick in the leather
• Overall amazing condition for the year – CAR IS A MUST SEE!!!!

Overall it’s a VERY nice car especially for the year. I would rate it an 9 /10 overall and I’m VERY picky with cars. I tend to be overly critical and under describe cars, but I’d rather you be impressed when you get your new car rather than disappointed due to the unrealistic descriptions that many dealers offer. Now onto the legal stuff: Status Motors of NJ LLC is a licensed, bonded, and insured used car dealer in the state of New Jersey. Our retail lot is located at 69 Groveville Road, (corner of Rt 130 and Groveville Road) in Bordentown, NJ. Any inspections must take place on site at our facility, and be concluded before the end of the auction. NJ residents MUST pay 7% sales tax in addition to the winning price of the bid. No exceptions. Out of state residents must pay their own taxes when they go to register the car in their local municipality.

All purchasers (including dealers) must pay a $199 documentation fee, which covers the cost of overnight mail and title transfer, ebay fees etc. Temporary vehicle tags are available to both in state and out of state residents, they cost $25. Non-resident temp tags are valid for 20 days from the date of issuance. Resident temp tags are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. All cars are sold as-is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. All retail customers will be obligated to sign an as-is where is acknowledgement as part of the purchase paperwork. Buyer should expect to find 'normal wear' that would be consistent with the vehicles age and mileage. Older vehicles may show undercarriage rusting consistent with vehicles age and mileage.
