2001 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class Sport Description

For sale is a loved, well maintained Mercedes SLK 320 made in Germany. I purchased it 2 and a half years ago and it has served me very well throughout that time. I'm the fourth owner of the car. Please look at the car history and you will see the car was well taken care of by all four owners.
I originally purchased the car in St. Louis, Missouri and drove it down to the Ft. Lauderdale area of Florida where it has been used ever since.
It has mostly been driven on the highway to commute from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami. via I-75 and Florida Turnpike (if you're familiar with the area).
Everything in the car works. There are no leaks in the VARIO ROOF and it operates perfectly. The car has the BOSE stereo option. The sound is absolutely fantastic and the sound setup is all original. I added a DENSION fiber-optic interface to connect and operate your iPhone, Android or USB device directly from the head unit.
As you will see in the pictures there is no major blemishes in the dash area. This is rare on these cars and I hope this shows how the car was cared for. When I got the car there was some scratches on the dash. I had the dash redone professionally.
The leather on both front seats is very soft and nice. There are no discoloration on the seats. The driver seat has some signs of use as expected and a small hole on the bolster. The hole is small and can barely been seen. I took a picture of it.
I have had the oil replaced every 10,000 miles with synthetic oil as prescribed by Mercedes. Same goes for all the filters and any maintenance items. The front tires where replaced about 10,000 miles ago. The rear tires where replaced 5,000 miles ago. I have receipts for both that will go with the car as they are still under warranty.
The carpet is in good shape. No tears, discoloration or stains. The car has two original Mercedes embroidered mats which are also in good shape with no tears, major discoloration or stains.
There are two or three pin sized dings in the car. There is one scratch about one inch long that was touched-up. There are some stone chips, most of them touched up. I keep checking for chips from the highway drive and every time I find one, I touch it up.
The front bumper has a crack on the lower side due to a parking curb. I have had it repaired once before but the car is very low and I ended up hitting another one. No damage to the paint but the crack is visible from when you look the car from a lower angle. I took a picture.
This is a manual 6 speed car. The car has the SPORT package, which makes it look exactly like the SLK32.
Overall, you would be purchasing a fun sports car that offers both excitement and comfort from an owner that cared for the car and maintained it very well.
You can find more picures of the car here XXXXXX. I also posted a video of the car here XXXXXX.
Full payment is due at the time of pickup.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Please ask questions before buying or bidding.
