2003 Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2.6L Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C240 4Matic sedan with just 130k miles. I would rate the exterior of this C240 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see in the photos, this car doesn't look too bad...but I'd call it a ten footer. Up close, you'll notice that the paint doesn't shine on the trunk as well as it shines on the rest of the car. You'll also notice a bunch of scrapes and rub marks on both bumper covers. All told, nothing hateful...just not as nice as I'd like to see for the mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The factory alloy wheels show well and the tires have average tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please, please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully so you know what you're getting. I would also rate the interior of this C240 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. Without slowly listing each and every individual item, let's just say that the whole interior is dirty and could use a cleaning. The door cards show some wear. The inside pulls for both front doors have come off, which is very common with these vehicles as they age. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working. However, the buttons in the lower center appear to be non-responsive. The temperature controls, manual fan speed controls and manual directional controls do appear to be working. The power rear shade will not lower. The driver's seat cushion seems loose. There is a factory CD changer in the glove box but the audio system is untested. Mechanically, this C240 4Matic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.6L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are decent. The suspension feels stable. I'm sure, if you look hard enough, you'll have no problem finding a few things that could use replaced, as you could with any 14 year old car...but she goes down the road fine. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine makes good power and feels smooth. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. The 4Matic AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. She has a current VA inspection good through the end of May, 2017. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
