1984 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

Bought this not long ago.Owner passed and car had sat a couple years. I added fresh gas.new battery started it up and drove it on my trailer. Car has a small miss in the engine.I was hoping this would come out of it but it hasn`t yet. I have driven it about 50 miles.Now there is white smoke coming from the exhaust sometimes. I don`t know why. I have owned 3 of these cars in the past and love them but I am not a mercedes mechanic.This car drives nice and has a nice body. Most everything works that I have checked except the radio and power antenna. The soft top had split seams and I removed it in preparation for a new top.Of course the hard top is there and in good condition. I installed new plugs and plug wires.but the miss persists. I wish I could get the mechanical issues addressed but where I live that is not much of an option.
