1984 Mercedes-Benz 300 TD Wagon
1984 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description
This is a great running car and a safe car to drive. To someone who wants dependable, economical, low maintenance, and practical transportation, it's a steal at this price!! The engine, transmission, drive train, brakes, and body are in very good condition. The engine has been completely rebuilt from the crankcase up and only has about 10,000 mi. since the engine was rebuilt. The transmission was rebuilt a few years ago and is in good shape. Both the engine and transmission have far, far more miles of life and can last indefinitely. The car starts and shuts off quickly every time. The brake master cylinder has been recently replaced and the brake shoes have lots of life in them. It has been well maintained and many other parts such as steering rods have been replaced. The engine, drive train, mechanical functioning, and body of the car are very strong points. The car has a current valid inspection sticker good for another year. The car's weaknesses are in the "peripherals" such as air conditioning needing repair, cd player that needs replacing, couple of gaskets that leak when it's power washed, and water stain on one side of the carpet in the back near the hatch. There is a small dent on top of hood caused by a falling tree branch. There's a spot on the hood and on the side where the paint had a bubble that peeled. The car still looks very good. A rubber piece on back of the front bumper is missing on one side. I Love this car and would feel completely confident getting in it right now and driving coast to coast.
