Up for auction is a 2002 Mercedes Benz S430 with 87,500 miles. This Mercedes is finished in a bright artic white paint with a tan leather interior. Has the powerful 4.3L V8 with an automatic transmission. Has all the options including in-dash navigation, perforated leather interior, power everything(seats, mirrors, locks, windows, sunroof), rear door window shades and power rear window shade, 18" AMG wheels, heated seats, cd changer, woodgrain dash, steering wheel controls and much more. If your looking for a Mercedes that was over $80,000 new at a great price than I would look no further!
All around this Benz is in nice shape with your normal wear for being 15+ years old. The paint and body look great. No body damage except for a crack at the bottom of the rear bumper which I took pictures of. The paint still shines like new and looks great. There is a couple of rust bubbles starting to show in a couple places which you can see in the pictures. The only really noticeable ones are on the edge of the wheel wells on the rear quarter panels. No paint work, dents or body damage except for the crack on the rear bumper and the rust bubbles. The wheels are in nice shape with fairly new tires on the front and the rear tires will need to be replaced soon as their getting pretty worn. There is also a crack on the passenger side of the front windshield. Open the doors and you will find a clean tan leather interior. Leather seats are in great shape. All power options work great. Premium sound system sounds great. The volume controls on the radio don't work so you have to use the volume controls on the steering wheel. AC blows cold and the heat works great. Some of the plastic trim pieces are broke on the bottom of the front seats as you can see in the pictures. Everything else is in great shape. Comes with all the factory manuals, books and some service records. No check engine lights on except for "service brake pads". Trunk area is nice and clean with spare tire, jack, tool kit, first aid kit and all accessories. Open the hood and you find a super clean 4.3L V8 that starts right up and sounds great. Sometimes when you first start the car the air pump for the air suspension will make a whining noise for about 10 seconds which is common on these cars. Does it randomly. Drives nice and smooth down the road at all speeds. No vibrations and no leaks. Mechanically there is nothing to worry about. No check engine lights on. All around a great running S430.
