Technically 3 owners but really just from 1 owner. Contact me at 301-312-1791 (call/text) if you want to check it out. I just purchased this from a verylovelyfamily whose parents were the original owner and was passed down to him. Ibought the carfrom him just a few weeks ago. I purchased this car for my father because it was his dream car. He was very excited at first, then the reality set in, the car is too big for his old age. Rather than seeing him get into an accident with this beautiful car, I think I am better off selling it to someone that will appreciate it. Please understand what you are buying a very old car with high mileage. I don't know anything about this car other than the previous owner's description of it. He seemed like an overly honest person and extremely thorough. Here is his ad describing the car,
"Please read the entire post before emailing or texting, Do NOT ask questions which are already answered here. This is just an amazing car - fully loaded with new everything - so read and get it now. When its's sold, the post will be deleted, Are you reading this? OK, so the car is still for sale. Now that question as been answered, read on...
My parents bought this amazing Mercedes E320 new locally from Bethesda Mercedes back in 2003, and it's been in the family ever since. It was used primarily for family road trips and college dorm runs and more recently as a spare car for when friends come to visit. It has been maintained regardless of cost at the mercedes Main Dealer throughout its life and we have spent literally thousands over the past few years (with all receipts totaling $10,000 plus to prove) ensuring that the car is always perfect and reliable in every way-and it has never failed once. We (well, my wife...) has just bought a new Mercedes and whilst I really don't want to sell this car, logic and lack of space in driveway suggest otherwise. Certain domestic fights you just can't win.
Firstly, the car has just passed its VA inspection and emissions/smog test-so it's good for another 2 years! You can see the report-no observations or comments-the car sailed through. The VA emissions are also valid in MD and DC. In the last month we have had new rotors and pads for the front and rear installed, new tires and a new battery. Recently we have had the AC re-gassed and a new AC compressor fitted. Within the last 12 months it has had a bushing set done (not sure what this is) and new control arms at the front, new bearings/hubs and new ABS sensors. It is always fully serviced at our local dealer and has also just had new, air and cabin air filters, new wipers and the oil change done (they use genuine Mercedes Mobil1 0w-40 full synthetic oil-its not a Jiffy Lube cheap oil service). I had the oil change done yesterday with a complete service so I know the car is in absolute great condition before I sell it.
Everything else that needed replacement over the years has been done, including OEM plugs and ignition coils, tie rod ends and most recently the front shocks (OEM ones, of course). It has had a brake fluid flush, collant flush and all fluids always checked. There is so much more- but I can't think of it right now. Even the battery has another 30months transferale warrantly. It has been ultra reliable (you have to love a Mercedes)- I would drive to CA tomorrow.
It has the 2 rear fold down seats in the trunk (with seat belts)-these are just so useful for a growing family (or the odd Dad Teenager Taxi service). The leather seats are in immaculate condition with no rips or tears and the seat heating works perfectly. It even has Satellite Radio fitted(but you will need to add your Sirius XM account details to it). The interior, as you can see from the photos, is like new, there is not one mark or stain anywhere.
The bodywork is just excellent. There is not damage, less minor car park bumper scuffs- which photos don't show and a small dink-again, almost unnoticeable. There are no unduly large paint chips (there are a few on front bumper and the hood) or other marks on the painwork which I can see-there is one minor car park shopping cart ding which you can't see unless I point it out (and I will).
The ride is velvet firm- as a Mercedes should be, and there are no speaks, rattles or other warning lights on. This car simply glides and I love it. And it is, of course quick. Importantly is has brand new Michelin tires just fitted for the inspection (so less than 50miles wear-and no, I hadn't planned on fitting this brand to sell, blame an overzealous wife who answered the phone to the inspection station at the time...) Just the tires were close to $1000 with delivery, valve, balance Nitrogen inflation and fitting. The car comes with all the sets of keys (3 in total!)- and all original handboods, the radio code so much paperwork and everything else in the photos.
The car has a clean and clear title, which I hold. There are no Liens on it. It checks out clear and clean on Carfax, with no accidents or other issues, and I have just pulled the report for you (but feel free to run one yourself)
The car is here in McLean, 22101. I will show it to you at ------- Sorry the muddles of CL means that meeting in public seems prudent-but I am sure you are all lovely.
The car is certainly better than any other E320 Wagon on Clist or advertised locally (I bet you don't find many more anywhere)-it is certainly in better condition than the majority of 2010+ Mercedes. The first person to see it will buy it-I am sure of this. It is better and cleaner than any Mercedes offered by a dealer and at half the price. And this brings me to the price. KBB values it at over $5782 in Good Condition and Carfax(which is arguably more accurate as it is based on the exact VIN and service records) suggests $5640. Remember its got new tires($1000) and new brake job ($1000)-both just fitted-so you are getting $3000 off before you even start!
Bring cash to view please. No, really, I can't stress this enough. I am going to blatantly ask you if you have cash (not in the bank-but burning a hole in your back pocket) before you view. I am not a car dealer and don't want to spend my time doing countless viewings; indeed, I plan to conduct only one viewing-the first person who calls me with cash, and has the ability to collect the car in a timely fashion (which, I would suggest means having a spare Tag with you). This is not you? -thenit is probably best not to call.
If you can find a better car don't tell me but buy it."
I think you can get a pretty good idea of this car based on that description. I'm sure somebody will really appreciate this car, just make sure you are okay with the size.
