2000 Mercedes-Benz M-Class Description

This is a 2000 ML320. The car starts and runs good. It had the transmission rebuilt and a new torque converter installed at about 124,000 miles. Now it slips out of gear and doesn't shift correctly. It will move and drive but it has this problem that needs to be corrected. I have been told that it has a electrical issue that is causing this problem. The trans was rebuilt by the "most knowledgeable Mercedes tech in the Chicago area bar non" according to the repair shop that did the R&R of the trans. So they insist it's a electrical issue else ware on the vehicle which it may be, but I'm not sure. Otherwise the car is in nice shape, not a lot of rust and the tires are in good shape with good tread. If Someone has a car like this in great condition with a engine/trans that's bad this may be a good alternative to scrapping it. Any questions just ask. Sold as is.
