Now availableis this beautiful and ultra low mileage 1999 Mercedes Benz SL500 convertible. This SL500 has been pampered by just two previous owners and is in excellent condition. It is finished in jet black over a gray leather interior. With just 36,000 original miles, this is the one to have and is just in time for the spring season! Mechanically, this SL500 is perfect. The powerful 302HP 5.0L V8 engine starts right up with no hesitation and runs strong and smooth. It purrs at idle and revs out with ease. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. All of the power options are working exactly as they should. The air conditioning blows ice cold. Most importantly, the hydraulics for the soft top and hard top are operating flawlessly. All four tires are brand new and were just installed.

Cosmetically, this SL500 is near perfect, especially for an 18 year old car. The black paint shines beautifully and appears all original. There are no dings or dents or scratches to point out. The soft top is in excellent shape with no wear. The hard top is perfect too. The rare factory chrome 5 spoke wheels shine nicely. This car is sharp and gets a lot of attention.

The interior is very clean. The dash, carpets, and leather seats are all in great condition. There is just the slightest wear on the driver's side bolster from getting in and out of the seat. All of the switchgear is working properly. This was a non-smoker vehicle and has no odors or burns. Factory floor mats are included and were in the trunk for the photos.

This 1999 SL500 is a rare find. The color combination and ultra low original miles make this a very rare find. R129 model Mercedes are phenomenal cars and in my opinion, the last of the true classic German cars. They are just beginning to appreciate which makes this a sound investment that you can also enjoy. This SL500 is a perfect balance of performance, style, and class. It has clearly been very well cared for and driven sparingly by its previous owners.
