First stage of repairs 4/13/2016 notes from My mechanic at G&G Autohaus 325So Decatur BLVD Las Vegas Nevada 8910745 years of specialized experience working on Mercedes Benz.Notes before repair (allrepairs were completed) Check engine light is on check & advise performedcomputer scan, found fault code P0400malfunction in EGR performed further testing found vacuumed hoses leaking repaired EGR vacuum hoses as necessary. Found valve cover gaskets & PCV chamber leaking Replaced valve cover gaskets and resealed PCV chamber & replaced breathing hoses Replaced parking break handle (broken)Smog Certificate Replaced right intake tube (broken)convertible top Inop performed function &electrical test found hall sensor @ front of windshield frame faulty (sensor replaced)performed synthetic lubrication service

Total spent on the vehicle $2,062.49 to date. car is in great condition for its age runs and drives well tires are in excellent condition convertible top works car is very fast
The good car has had a lot of work done to it the total invested in the car in repairs so far is as listed above
The bad items I would replace for my taste The items listed below are all personal preference has nothing to do with the performance of the vehicle and are strictly cosmetics The car still has some cosmetic issues the left front door has a door ding easy fixthe hood cover inside the engine needs to be replaced small issues cheap fixSRS light comes on and off when passenger sits in the car its a small switch easy fix notice in pics SRS light is off while driving driver front seat needs reupholstering $600 for both or you could put seat covers its your choice. carbon fiber center peace needs to be replaced or not its personal preference tow cover on front bumper needs to be replaced 35.00 on eBay front scratch on right side of bumper small damage under front bumper small scratch on hood left side
Note: all items listed are things I would fix this is just my personal way of doing things I like perfection keep in mind this is a 16 year old car and at this time all mechanical issues that would have caused major issues have been repaired as long as I hold on to the car I will keep repairs up this however will increases the amount asked for the car the car at this time in my option needs very little
