This Benz was totaled after the owner forgot to close the driver side door/window during a rain shower. The owner took it to the Mercedes dealership which removed the driver side seat and carpeting and started working on a repair quote. Meanwhile the owner's insurance company got involved and told the Dealership to stop repairs because they had decided to total it. We got this late model GLKinto our shop and found only minor damage to the driver side carpeting and BUS wire connectors. We removed all the seats and carpeting and found only the driver front and rear section to be wet, no water got over into the passenger side. We bought a new driver front section of carpeting, replaced the BUS connectors and bleached the floor pan before reinstalling the thoroughly cleaned seats and passenger carpeting. The rain water damage was very minor and we are confident that the repairs are complete. The vehicle runs & drives smoothly is mechanically sound and has no dash warning lights on. The Benz has passed PA'S Enhanced Safety Inspection and is being sold with a PA Rebuilt Title that's ready to register and drive. we value our 100% positive feedback!
