1987 Mercedes Benz 300 SD(L) L for long Wheel Base, Turbo Diesel Sedan, Yes this is the famous bullet proof, million mile 3 liter German diesel wonder motor capable of running on a variety of oils, including WVO or SVO with some modifications. Exterior Color is a Two Tone Anthracite Metallic Gray combination with dove gray leather interior. This is a two owner pampered luxury car which spent many years in the climate controlled shelter of its former owners garage. The condition of the car speaks for itself, so make sure you view all of the 60 plus High Resolution photos.

This car has been very well cared for over the years and was just recently serviced with current records in preparation for this sale. The features of the car are as follows: Automatic, 3.0L Turbo Diesel, 4 wheel disc brakes, climate controlled interior cabin (functions perfectly), power memory driver's & passengers seats, ice cold A/C, power windows, power moon roof, cruise, central locking system, factory tinted glass, telescoping wheel & power passenger mirror. Condition:This Mercedes is a real dream to drive and still feels as solid as the day it rolled off the showroom floor. I have had the local Mercedes Specialist go through the car and inspect it to make sure all service is current. No Clunks, no noises, starts without hesitation, motor is exceptionally strong, and purrrrs like a kitten The engine and trans run perfectly & have plenty of power. The transmission pulls strong with no vibration and no slipping and moves perfectly through all gears. The interior is exceptional for a car of this vintage with no rips or tears. All of the seating areas are in excellent condition. As you can see in the pictures, the paint & clear coat is very nice w/minor imperfections. Everything in the car works perfectly as it should. The A/C was just serviced and blows ice cold. Have confidence, this car is ready to drive anywhere, with clean documented history & mileage.If you have been looking for a classic Mercedes road king like this, you understand that these are very hard to find in this condition with original low mileage, let alone with a nice clean body. Everything checks out on Carfax history with the exception of one accident. I have included a picture of the right front end fender damage as well, so you can see what was done and how it looked prior to repair. Mileage may increase slightly, however I rarely drive the car now since I purchased a truck for our growing family. Defects: Although this car is beautiful, it is 29 years old and certainly is NOT perfect. It does have some signs of age and minor imperfections as noted here as well as in the pictures. Small nicks and some minor scratches as well as some chips, typical for a 29 year old car. Other body imperfections are noted in the pictures as well. Also, some touch ups on paint but they are very minor. The wheels have been refinished, the sunroof sticks a little but opens and closes perfectly and does NOT leak. The hood insulation was glued up previously and could use some further attention. The headlamp wipers do not function & the factory Becker radio is not functional.

Personal Note: These cars are very strong and durable, and quite easy to maintain and with good care and service will run for hundreds of thousands of miles. I have recently been looking for a nice diesel Suburban and during my search I often come across nice clean cars like this one.I restore the cars over time while I drive them.
