There are 83,000 certified miles on this beautiful numbers matching car. This rust free car has had a complete frame off restoration and was repainted with original paint ordered from Germany. The engine has also been rebuilt with new pistons, bearings and timing chain. The cylinder head has been cleaned and inspected by a machine shop. The car has been fitted with a pair of Weber carburetors for improved drivability and reliability, a common upgrade for these cars. The original Solex carburetors are also included. The transmission as well as the rear differential were inspected and resealed. A new clutch was also installed. The gas tank is new as well as the exhaust system. All brake parts including the booster have been replaced. The body, engine and transmission mounts are new. The interior has also been expertly restored. The gauges have been removed and professionally rebuilt. The seven-day clock and flip rear view mirror are original. The seats, door panels and dash have been recovered with authentic leather from Germany. A new light grey wool carpet has also been installed. The soft-top frame has been fitted with new German canvas and the large window hardtop has been restored as well. The chrome trim pieces and bumpers have been re-plated to the highest show quality standards. As you can see this car has been beautifully restored and it runs just as great as it looks.
