2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class Description

2008 CLK 63 AMG Black Series with 32,500 miles

This car was built in December of 2007 and is one of 350 made for the USA and is the first of the Black Series vehicles to be imported to North America by Mercedes Benz.

The engine is the 6.3L naturally aspirated 8 cylinder monster that makes 500 HP. It starts with a burble and a growl that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up then settles into a lazy idle. Once you put it in gear and step on the throttle it changes to a deep-throated growl that changes to a wail once it goes beyond 3,000 RPM.

Mercedes made the car without rear seats or a sunroof because it was made to drive.

It is currently plated and insured in Ohio and is always garaged at my house. There are no current liens on this car and the title is free and clear.

I will post interior photos as soon as possible. It is as clean on the inside as it is on the outside.

Vehicle Condition:

This car is in immaculate condition inside and out, is a non-smoking vehicle and has not had any engine modifications. It has fresh tires all around that have less than 1,500 highway miles on them. There are no rub marks on the wheels.

Stock Vehicle:

This CLK Black Series is completely stock in engine and appearance with the exception of the carbon fiber chin spoiler which I have on because my driveway is fairly sloped and the window tinting. The spoiler fits over the factory chin spoiler which is in perfect condition underneath. The prior owner added the black window tinting but it was done professionally and there is no evidence of tearing or bubbling anywhere.

Minor Blemishes:

There are a small number of stone chips on the front of the hood, and one on the driver’s side rear wheel arch that was recently received. All glass is in perfect shape and there are no stains or blemishes on the paint.

Mercedes Servicing:

This car has been serviced at Mercedes Benz dealers and a full service history is available. In fact, the presence of the MB service history was a major contributor to my decision to purchase this particular car.
