2003 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Description

Car polishes up great!
4 Wheel drive makes this an AWESOME winter car -- I've out drive, and out pulled Honda CRV's 4x4 Chevy trucks, and gone when everyone else was in the ditch.
As much as I hate to sell it, I don't drive it any longer.
I purchased the S500 from a local dealer at around 90k miles - and drove it every day - mostly highway miles. Always took very good care of it -- changed oil religiously w Genuine Mobile 1 as Mercedes recommends. Oil changed about 800 miles ago -- has about 9,200 miles left before next service!
Under 1k miles ago (before I stopped driving it) we had:
* Oil changed (good for 10k miles between changes)
* New front air struts replaced
* new CV boots on front end
* new upper and lower control arms
* New ball joints
* nearly an entirely new front suspension system put on, to keep the original ride
* New battery
... and then, bought an S550 -- and parked this one for a year.
From not driving it, the brakes pulsate (scale/rust on rotors) -- and may fix themselves, or require new brake disks.
Car accelerates like the wind -- you press the gas, and leave everyone in the dust -- and quietly.
Car will effortlessly travel well above 100 mph without vibration or issue (NOT recommended traveling this fast as it is most likely illegal)
No accidents or collision damage while I owed it, or to my knowledge.
When old battery died, it triggered the "check airbag" light to come on ("srs"), however there was never any issue until the morning I tried to start it, and the battery caused a low voltage situation... I'm told this is common, and just needs a "reset tool" -- often a free or $20 garage visit does it. No airbag deployment or accidents.
Look at pictures -- available for test drive in Scranton, Pennsylvania area any day. Sold as-is... Car drives GREAT!

Does not come with Sirius radio "HEAD" -- mounts, antenna, and all accessories are installed, but actual "radio" can be purchased on ebay for a nominal amount.

These cares are finally affordable -- this car originally sold at $110,000!
Now, drive a $100k+ car for a fraction of the cost.
Seller reserves the right to cancel auction or not sell vehicle if ending price is too low.
Each front shock was over $1,000 for the uninstalled part, and the control arms ever a few hundred uninstalled, so you're getting a great deal.ALSO, Transmission filter, oil, and engine oil (10.5 QUARTS) was JUST changed.
Will NOT sell car for under $3,500.
