1995 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

If you are interested in this car, you should be familiar with this year and model. The wiring harness is problematic. The anti-lock brakes have been disabled by removing the relay, so the brakes are regular power brakes, pads are new-ish...no other modifications there. The traction control is non-functioning because the wheel-speed sensors are shot and the hyrdaulic line is rusted through. The car has good posture, fresh motor mounts, and drives great....but I consider it dangerous. Engine is non-turbo, 24 valve overhead cams, revs strong, no smoke.
The engine and transmission are in great shape, needs new rear-differential mounts, the tires are shot. The left rear window regulator just failed. The body is pretty good, all lights work. The engine pre-heat system just stopped working, the glow-plug relay tests OK, the glow-plugs are three years old. I just changed the oil, Rotella, runs great...always has. The battery is good condition, over four years old, still strong.
You can drive this car away. Currently uninsured. Tags and inspection are dead.
