This car is very nice. Simply said fully loaded. MB Dealer Maintained. Runs Excellent.
So why the salvage title? Not because of an accident, but because of a flood in the trunk in the original owner’s garage during Hurricane Sandy. The insurance company complied with the owner’s request to buy the car from him. They were all swamped with claims and deemed it the cheapest way out. The companies were so busy with Hurricane Sandy cars that many slipped through the cracks and labeled "salvaged" when in reality, the trunk was the only part that was partially flooded. This car was garaged during the storm and the owner's house was under a foot of water.
The car runs perfectly and is in clean showroom condition. The vehicle has been gone through completely and totally repaired. There isn't even the hint or smell of mold in any part of the vehicle. There wasn't much wrong with it other than the insurance haste to dispose of the claim.I’ve had the car for two years. I have replaced the tires about 2000 miles ago, a set of brakes and rotors and the battery recently. Mercedes of Beverly Hills has done all the work including a recent 30,000 mile service. All systems work properly. Car is very nice. Here is an opportunity to buy a classy, fun quality automobile at a price that will allow you to drive it for a couple of years without suffering huge depreciation. Salvage is a very practical way of purchasing and driving a high quality car without paying up for it; quite the contrary, if you can find one like this (very difficult) there is no loss of money when time comes to get another one. The car is out of warranty, but so are all the 2012 models.
It's real clean with no evidence of any water damage. It runs perfectly and has been looked at and serviced by Beverly Hills Mercedes. This is a nice opportunity to buy an almost new car $15-20,000 under book value. As to the warranty, Mercedes won't offer one, however, keep in mind that it is a Mercedes and not much goes wrong with them. This car can be driven and serviced exactly like one with a normal title. Bottom line, for a car this highly desirable and reliable, it is priced to sell!
MSRP: $110,000+
