We purchased this '95 SL500 from only it's second owner. It is the nicest SL500 we have laid eyes on. Exterior: The body on this car is as straight as an arrow. The paint shows in near perfect condition. Still sporting its two tone color combination this car shows just as it did when it rolled off the showroom floor. This car is extremely consistent, in terms of condition, from the soft top to hardtop and the body to wheels and mouldings. There is no evidence of any accidents or repairs anywhere. The car is FREE FROM RUST and shows like a show car. The wheels are near perfect. It is hard to believe that the car has 72k miles based on it's appearance. This in NOT a 10 footer....this is a near flawless car up close. Interior: As you can see in the pictures, the interior of this Mercedes is unbelievable. The leather near flawless throughout. The dash, console, door trim, carpets, and seats all show like a 10k mile car. There is no interior odor and it still smells of supple leather. The wood trim is as bright and polished as the day it came off the line. The radio was upgraded from the archaic MB system that had cell phone integration. Popping the console open or the dash hatch reveals the memory evoking vintage cell phone that is built into the car. The dash shows in excellent condition from the gauges to the climate controls. This car really looks like a 10k mile car inside and out. Under the Hood / Underbody: Again, we defer to the pictures. This car is so clean and nice inside and out....and even under! The engine bay is well kept and shows all the signs of thorough and proper service/maintenance. The underside shows no signs of salt or road abuse. It is not everyday we see a 25yr old car in this nice of condition. Driving: This SL runs and drives as well as it looks. No road noises to note. Smooth idling and responsive acceleration. The Yokohama tires are in great shape with lots of miles left on them. The car stops nice and straight and tracks the same under normal cruising.
