History

Mercedes-Benz traces its origins to Karl Benz's creation of the first gasoline powered car, the Benz Patent Motorwagen, in January 1886. Later that year, Gottlieb Daimler created his own car, by adding a gasoline engine to a stagecoach. The first Mercedes-Benz brand name vehicles were produced in 1926, following the merger of Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler's two companies into the Daimler-Benz company.

The "E-Class" name first appeared in 1993 with the model W124.The second generation E-Class was launched in 1995, and brought the mid-size Mercedes firmly into the upper end of the luxury market.Launched in 2002, the third generation E-Class (model W211) was another evolution of the model. The W211 E-Class received a facelift in 2007, and continued to be produced through the 2009 model year.

This excellent 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 was purchased at W.I Simonson Mercedes-Benz in Santa Monica, CA and put into service on September 13, 2008. Four years later, the original owner took the car back to W.I. Simonson, and traded it in on a new model. I purchased the 2009 E350 on September 20, 2012 under the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Purchase program. At the time, the car had just 13,384 miles on the odometer.

Since taking ownership of the E350, Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz, the Factory Authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealership in Newport Beach, CA has continued to maintain the car per factory specifications. I have copies of all invoices, including its most recent service on January 25, 2017.

As expected, the E350 is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The engine compartment is clean and well maintained. The interior is outstanding, right down to the new floor mats I purchased in January. The Iridium Silver paint is brilliant. Although the E350 is not perfect, it closely resembles a one year old car.

I recently purchased a new E350 convertible, and my E350 sedan needs a new home. If you are looking for a Dealer maintained 2009 Mercedes-Benz E350 in outstanding, original condition, this is the car for you!
