2005 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 158" WB Description

2005 Freightliner Sprinter 3500 158" WB High Roof. Mercedes Diesel engine, body badged Freightliner. We are in the process of converting this van to a weekend getaway RV! Could also be your next home if you so desire! Circumstances aren't going to allow us to finish and we are sad to see it go. Hope that it will find a good home that will take it on many adventures! You will have to complete the conversion but a lot of the difficult steps are already done so you get to customize it and do the fun part!
We bought it from a plumbing company that had it since 2005, new as part of their fleet. They provided all the service records since 2013 (It was one of their least driven vehicles). We also recently replaced the lower ball joints, rear brakes, and the transmission conductor plate and glow plug module. (I have gained a lot of knowledge on common sprinter issues and can pass that on to you).
It had rust around the windshield that leaked water and that just got repaired professionally as well. Vinyl logo from plumbing company removed and rust inhibitor was used on the exterior rust (still needed exterior cleaning of vinyl residue and prepping, priming and painting van body).
Work done so far on the interior:
1. Stripped and cleaned all interior rust.
2. Primed and painted interior with rust inhibitors.
3. Sound dampening material and reflectix insulatation covering interior metal.
4. Denim insulation R-19 installed behind wall panels
5. Vapor barrier sealed around insulation
6. Wiring set up for lighting and outlets throughout the van.
7. 2-Fantastic Fan RV ceiling fans installed.
8. 2-Goal Zero Boulder 90 solar panels installed on roof (MC4 extension cables included).
9. Power inlet installed on side of van for shore power.
10. 1/4" birch plywood wall panels installed (in progress - see photos)
11. 1/2" OEM board installed as subfloor.
If you have any questions feel free to let me know. I also have drawings of electrical layout and floor plans. Asking $15,000 now. Will hear other offers but needing to cover $4k of work we've put into the van so far.
We accept cashier's check or cash. You are responsible for shipping/picking up the van in person.
