1989 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Description

It's rough, but it runs and drives. This was my daily driver until 2 months ago. New radiator and thermostat last fall. Tires are mismatched, but have good tread. I have 4 matched in the car that go with as well. New windshield in January. I make no guarantees on this 20+ year old car. It's as is. Will need brake pads and rotors soon. Also, the left front caliper drags a bit at times. If you are coming from a long distance, I suggest bringing a trailer or doing the brakes in my driveway. The hvac is always hot when turned on. You can buy the monovalve to fix it or install a simple shut off valve. You can also just shut the system off when you don't want heat. AC is inop. Was working but developed a leak at the compressor line seals. Sunroof inop, motor runs but parts are broken Left rearwindow inop. Motorruns but the window is disconnected from it. Probably a quick fix.. I found a better car and do not need this anymore. Like I say, it is rough, but it got me where I was going. It qualifies for antique plates too. It would be a good candidate for restoration or just a cheap car to drive. Parts are reasonable online. I would estimate ft pads and rotors around $110 on ebay. If it needs a ft. caliper that would be around $65-$100. I took my stereo out of it, but it is set up for aftermarket stereos. Just hook your unit up and go. All 10 factory speakers are there. Any questions, just ask. A W126 like this can easily go for $15,000-$20,000 in good shape. This is rough, but it's still a Mercedes S class. Happy bidding.
