1985 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

85 380 sl hardtop convertible...with new soft top .
have too many vehicles...
unfinished restoration project. car is sitting covered....
(the problem is finding someone reputable who will work on
this old of a mercedes )
bought it two years+ ago but about all i have done is put new tires on it then
and the new seats and new soft top last year ( by local upholstery shop)
( needs seat belts because seller sent me two of the same side seats!)
the soft top is beautiful brown. contrasts nicely against the body color.
no pictures as i did not have help to remove the top when pix where taken.
motor runs as i start it on the weekends but have NOT had any mechanical issues
looked at-- acceleration issue when first starts up,,, radio does not work,
a/c does not work and no antenae... light body dings,,,not all trim is here.....
body solid.. same floor pan rust as windshield leaks but i have not made the time
to replace windshield. (priced about 375.00)
i attempted to fix floor pan rust with fiberglass repair to stop the rust...
interior door panels are fine, minor crack on the dash....
mileage unverifiable... OD stopped at 105,000....but probably more.
i have orginal mb owners manual that came with vehicle...
like i said... restoration project......
clear title on hand/ no warranty implied or otherwise.
reserve right to cancel auction as listed locally...
car needs to be trailered to destination as i am keeping the antique tag!
