2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class AMG Description

2002 Mercedes Benz CLK55 AMG Cabriolet, Clean, Low Mileage Beauty.. NOW with REAL POWER. About 2 years (and only 2k miles ago) I swapped the AMG V8 M113 Kompressor (AKA Supercharged AMG V8) engine into the NA CLK55.
The new Supercharged AMG Kompressor V8 has a factory output rating of 493 HP / 515 lb-ft Torque, that is 146HP / 139 lb-ft More powerful than the stock CLK55! .. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.. ;) We added the smaller 77mm pulley, Belt-Wrap-Kit, and Eurocharged ECU/TCU tune! Estimated HP/TQ is NOW 512HP & 563 LB FT!
MODIFICATIONS (Parts with custom fabrication and installation totaling $20,000.00+ Easy):
  • Mercedes AMG Kompressor- Supercharged M113 5.4l V8 engine from 2006 (Last production year, newest tech & improvements made) S55 AMG Sedan with 77k Miles on it, it was Not an accident car, with Matching ECU.
  • Custom Cooling Fan
  • (2) NEW REAR 265/35R18XL Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position Tires (50 mi on them)
  • NEW AMG coolant pump
  • New OEM Alternator
  • Custom ECU & TCU Tuning - from Eurocharged
  • Shardul's Belt Wrap Kit (to prevent slippage/power loss)
  • Koni Adjustable (dampening) Shocks
  • KMAC- Front & Rear Camber/Toe Kit for factory alignment specifications, and increased tire life for lowered cars (Custom Alignment completed after all parts installed)
  • Shaved sidemarkers from the front impact strip for the Euro look that this car was designed with, and features in markets outside of the USA.
  • AMG Monoblock wheels - 18x8, 18x9 Staggered configuration (can be added to sale for an additional $1k - if not car includes Original 17" 2 Piece AMG chrome rims)
  • Oil Change in March 17', and only a few miles put on since then.
  • Numerous other custom fabricated parts & electronics programming to make the swap possible

The car behaves like factory, smooth, quiet idle, BUT: mash the gas, and the car moves like a supercharged train on rails! Torquey, aggressive, yet factory smooth & linear power! 0-60 in the low 4 Seconds!

All functions work as intended, unless noted below*. You open the hood, and you'd never know that the new Supercharged AMG M113 engine under the hood was not installed by Klaus in Deutschland.

*The ESP/BAS systems disabled at this time, the "nanny" is off for the weekend, so If you shift to 1st gear and floor the pedal, and the RPM's hit the Rev limiter the car -for it's engine's safety (since wheel spin is no longer limited by the factory nanny systems) will electronically disconnect the engine from the tranny to avoid any damage, in which case you put it in "N"eutral, and re-start. If you know how to drive this will nearly never occur and is a non-issue. I understand that possibly some tuners in Europe have a way to program the TCU differently however I don't know of who/where to go, so I didn't address it, as it's caused me no concern.
Flaws: tiny curb rash on one of the 17" AMG chrome rims. Leather from Dash-top in one small area needs to be re-adhered to the dash, there's a wrinkle in the leather. The "orthopedic" seats aren't operational* Inside of top - liner plastic trim around inner rear window has crack - you'd never have seen it if I didn't just itemize it here Tiny windshield star nick. OEM command screen plastic has fogging from UV rays, few lcd pixels are intermittent in the lcd cluster, that's about it, it is currently a 13yr old car, so expect normal (but minimal) signs of use both interior & exterior, however the photos will show you that this is a 9/10 car interior and exterior. No accidents to my knowledge, and always a Florida car since new, (NOT a rust-belt car) averaging only 6,000 miles per year, and seeing her you know she was a weekend cruiser, and well taken care of, a needle in a hay stack for sure. Always kept indoors, no paintwork on any metal panels.. etc, etc..

$1,000 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT DUE W/IN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION ENDING VIA PAYPAL. BIDDERS WITH UNDER 10 FEEDBACKS MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING, or your bid will be canceled, sorry. I see too many vehicles listed over & over due to non-paying bidders.

PAYMENT IN FULL, VIA CASH, WIRE TRANSFER OR CHASE BANK CASHIERS CHECK DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS FROM AUCTION ENDING. IF PAYING IN PERSON- TRANSACTION WILL BE COMPLETED IN A LOCAL CHASE BANK.

CAR IS IN POMPANO BEACH, FL. AT MY MECHANIC (MERC WERKS) I shipped it there for it's annual check-up, oil change etc, and have decided to sell it, so no reason yet, to ship it back to me. You can inspect it there, or have your inspection service go there as well.

After payment in full is received, I can hand the car off to a auto-transporter if you can not pick-up in person.

Contact me anytime with any questions at all, nothing to hide.. I searched a long time for this color combo in this condition to be the foundation on which to begin this build.. no expense has been spared.. and I've giving it away for a few dollars more than this car if it was stock..and slow ;)
