Up for sale is one of the baddest Mercedes E63’s around. I’ve yet to meet its equal. It’s a 2007 with 89,500 miles. Please read thru until the end as it might be lengthy but I hope to answer a lot of questions.
Since 2007 the car was a daily driver. About 5 years ago I decided to turn it into my race car for the Big Bend Open Road races. These are races against the clock on a closed winding highway in West Texas. The race is about 116 miles (BBORR.com). 99% of the miles on the car are from daily driving before the add ons. The car was shipped to California and fully built by Weistec Engineering. I have over $65,000 in receipts and that doesn’t even include everything like the wheels ($8,000) or the cost of the car to begin with. Only the best available parts were used on the car. I know it seems kind of crazy to make a road racer out of a sedan and a Mercedes for that matter, but the result is undeniably awesome. I’ve had the car for a long time and just ready to move on to a couple other projects I bought. Don’t be fooled, this car can be used as a daily driver if you wanted to do that. It’s not obnoxiously loud until you punch the throttle and it rides on the factory airmatic suspension so it’s very very comfortable around town. I love when guys in exotic sports cars pull up and think it’s just another E-class with nice wheels and then they get their doors blown off.
You will find a list of all the mods below, but to summarize it has a Stage 3 Weistec Supercharger kit, MBH long tube headers and mid pipes, Weistec Stage 3 ECU reflash, Eurcharged Custom Race Gas Dyno Tune, Fully built Weistec 722.9 Bullet Proof Transmission with Rev Matching, Weistec Pads and Rotors, Carbon Fiber Race seats, Roll Cage and so much more. The car is tuned for MS109 Race fuel, it makes about 850 hp at the flywheel and about 720hp at the rear wheels. Car will do 205 mph with the current gearing. This car has been built to live at speeds between 145 and 190 during a race. In 2014 I entered the Big Bend Open Road Race Grand Sport 135mph class and won (you can see the results on their website). Last month I ran in the 145mph class averaging 143.5, but ran slow due to weather conditions (two of first four cars went off the road - I was #6 - and a car behind me went 100 yards off the road, hit a utility pole, caught on fire, and knocked out the power to the entire town of Sanderson. I hit the speed trap during practice at 181 and almost got DQ’d for exceeding my 168 tech speed. It’s a very angry car.
To be honest it’s been an extremely reliable car. The airmatic suspension has all been replaced and the a/c compressor has been replaced, both pretty standard repairs for an E63. In addition to the work that has been done by Weistec Engineering, I have also had work and maintenance done by Eurocharged Performance here in Houston and the local Mercedes Benz Dealership. All invoices and receipts are available via PDF file, just message me and I can send to you for review. The car doesn’t need anything, it’s ready to go. Drives straight as an arrow, tires are fat, not a scuff on the wheels, no warning lights on except the SRS light. This is due to the factory seat belts being removed along with the rear seat and factory front seats. The factory options on the car are as follows; Panoramic sunroof, Keyless go, Front and rear park sensors, Navigation, power trunk, heated and cooled seats, Logic 7 Sound, Multicontour Drive Dynamic Seats, Bluetooth, Rear Sun Shades. Everything including the A/C works the way it did brand new except for the heated and cooled seats because the seats have been removed. The Carbon Fiber seats are actually very comfortable and you kind of forget you’re sitting in a race seat. The car has been wrapped flat grey (done by Weistec). Under the wrap the car is factory Flint Grey and in flawless condition. The wrap is in great shape as well. There is one wrinkle on the driver door from the adhesive car number being put on and off. Tires are Nitrogen filled Hankook V12 Evo. Fronts are 255/35/19 and Rears are 285/35/19.
I know it’s a tough sell and never expected to get my money out, so I’ve priced it aggressively. Pre-Purchase Inspections are welcome but must be done before the auction is over. If you have a friend in Houston who can put eyes on the car send them over. Clean Title in Hand, deposit is required within 24hrs and is non-refundable.
