1996 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Description

Beautiful 1996 Mercedes-Benz C220 burgundy sedan with immaculate leather interior, very clean carpet, sunroof, power windows, power driver's seat, back seats that fold down for extra trunk space, airbags, and tinted windows. Exterior is in good shape minus a few scrapes, but the hood is crunched from a collision and the hinges are broken. Luckily the radiator and the components for the air conditioning are perfectly fine. Engine is strong but the car gets slowed down by bad catalytic converters and a transmission with burnt fluid due to trying to run without enough power. I bought the car a year ago and wasn't aware that the transmission was already well past its prime. Other than that, the car could use new bumper covers, serpentine belt and tensioner, valve cover gaskets, and new headlights, as one of the housings has water in it. The rear passenger side window needs a new switch as well. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side near the bottom, but it has not posed a problem so far. I will include a grill and hood hinges complete with struts. The Firestone tires on the car are only three months old, though the rear driver's side one has a very slow leak. Rims still shine up nicely for their age. Either restore this car to her former glory or let her help you get another Mercedes going again. For the amount of parts that are still in great shape, this is an amazing deal!
