1987 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2 Door convertible Description

87 SL 560. 85,213 miles. Being sold in "as is" condition. I have owned this car for approximately four years and was going to fix it up but never had the time. I have driven it minimally and kept in my garage entire time. Things I've done -
1. New blower motor2. Serviced at Sterling Star Automotive for check ups3. Four new tires4. New after market brakes - a bit of squeaking when it first starts but then is fine5. Replaced the floor mats due to age6. Added a rear seating package with seat belts (never installed belts)7. Has hard top which is in very nice condition
I haven't replaced the timing chain, and I'd describe the body as very good. There is some mild fading on the top of the front left quarter panel in terms of paint and on the rear trunk mounted tail light, but otherwise it's nice. The four places to "mount" underneath the car are strong and work fine. The soft top has a couple of small (1 inch) slits but hasn't been an issue driving. The car starts everytime I turn the key. I'm happy to provide additional pictures or information as needed.

I had someone come by and look at it yesterday and explained to me they feel the car has been re-painted. It was silver previously as well, but it appears to have been repainted. I'm not sure when that was done because I bought it from a person who told me the car was original paint. I just want to be sure there's no mis-representation in my ad. Thanks.
