1981 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL380 Description

1981 Mercedes 380SL 54kmiles 2 owner but within the same family. This 380 is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for as it has been a family member since it was bought new. Hard to really explain how much pride in ownership really shows through in an internet add. All i can say is this is one of those cars and you can immediately tell once you start to walk around it. Now I am not saying that it is perfection as the car is car is almost 40 years old. Its just in the ytpe of condition that a well loved SL should be. The paint is exceptional and still has quite a luster to it and shines proudly in the sun. The interior is also exceptional although it has one small stain in the rear behind the passenger seat which i am looking into gettin dyed. The seats have had those famous sheep skin covers on from dau one so thiey are in excellent condition. there in not cracking of any inetrior surface. The engine runs and shift very strong although many would say that the 380 was under powered it is really a great cruiser for those who are not in a hurry to get to a particuler place. It has been converted to the double chain which is a big important conversion in these car. The tires are in great shape and I have all the books. The soft top is in spetacular condition.
