1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

This Mercedes 560 SL needs love. I started having it restored a while back. It has a Brand new soft top. There is also a new rear end and I replaced the valves when the top end was rebuilt but that was several years ago but not many miles. The picture I took is the first time I saw the new top. The hard top is in good shape too. The Interior needs work. The car had been located at the mechanics garage for over a year so, although the car ran great before the mechanic, I am afraid to try to start it without cleaning gas lines. I did hook a battery up and the electrical works. I am moving so I am just trying to find the right car person with the time to bring this beautiful car back to life before I move out of state. She is 31 years old this year and in the right hands could be worth over 30K easily. The soft top will fasten in the back but it is so new it is stiff so I will leave that up to the new owner.
