2007 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E350 Description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING AS I PROBABLY WILL HAVE ANSWERED MOST OF YOUR QUESTIONS - thank you.
I have a 2007 Mercedes E350 4Matic sedan with 135k. The car is clean, runs great, and rides perfect. It has never been in an accident, has a clean Carfax and a clean and clear title. It has every option that was available in 2007... including All wheel drive, 'tiptronic' automatic transmission, Keyless-GO push button start, code 952 sport suspension with 18 inch wheels andnear new brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, dual panoramic sky-view sunroof, 12 speaker Harmon Kardon AM/FM/CD changer/Satellite radio/Navigation with Bluetooth and in-car phone, instrument cluster information screen with name of road and direction of travel, 3 person memory seats and mirrors with power memory tilt/telescoping steering wheel, speed sensitive rain-sensing windshield wipers, light blue factory tinted window glass, woodgrain dash and steering wheel inserts, dual zone climate control with rear heat/AC, power rear sunshade, power up/down trunk, Xenon HID headlights that actually turn with the steering wheel in the direction the car is going, warning lights for absolutely everything, Mercedes all weather rubber floormats, beautiful nighttime amber-glow interior accent lighting throughout(see last pic), tons of cargo space and hidden storage compartments all over, and much more!
It gets pretty good gas mileage with the V6, especially on the highway. I get about 27 mpg when I drive up to the Poconos, and that's at around 65-75 mph. Plus it has tons of torque and 268 HP for that get-up-and-go! So there is no need to waste money and gas on a more expensive V8. The heat works great and the AC will freeze you out! And it was great to have AWD this past winter with all the big snowstorms we had. I was able to use the car all winter long, and not leave it in the garage like everyone with rwd had to. This is a true year-round vehicle!
Since I purchased the car last November I have spent almost $2000 making it better. I did some of the work myself and got most of the parts at shop discounted prices, so if the average person paid a mechanic, or worse a dealership, the amount of work I did would be more like $3000-5000! The most important thing I did was replace the intake manifold. If anyone has owned a Mercedes, they know this is a major problem for so many models, and almost every V6 from about 2004 to I believe around 2011 or 12. The rods that control the intake manifold actuators are made out of cheap plastic. After around 80-100k miles and years of wear and tear stress, the plastic rods snap, causing internal flaps to get stuck open or closed and allow too much or too little air to get into the engine and confusing the engine computer module. This will cause engine misfires and if gone on long enough, can cause catastrophic engine failure, leaving you with a 5000lb paperweight! (Google it and watch YouTube videos for more info-you will see that I'm not making this up) Mercedes dealers can only change the entire intake manifold because they do not make the plastic replacement rods by themselves. The cost for the manifold replacement is over $2000, and they will replace it with another cheap plastic part which will eventually break also. When I had the manifold replaced, I removed the cheap plastic rods, and replaced them with metal URO rods which have a lifetime warranty!(See pic of yellow box) The URO rods were an additional $150 alone, but they will last a lifetime and never snap. While I was at it, I also replaced the crankcase vent valve, throttle body gasket, and of course both intake manifold gaskets. You will never have to worry about doing a $2000 intake manifold or risk blowing your motor, for as long as you own the car!
In addition, the two CV boots up front were torn when I got the car, so I just replaced both complete front axles with brand new ones. While I was at that, I changed both front coil springs which I got directly from the Mercedes dealership, and of course had an alignment done. I also did a full tune-up, including both engine air filters, the cabin air filter, and an oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I have all the receipts for parts bought and all work done.
This is a great car. You might be able to find one that's cheaper, or maybe has less miles, but will it have everything done to it that I have done? Or will you possibly be looking at thousands of dollars in costly future repairs? And if you'd rather buy one of those ones for 5-6 grand, good luck...you have those expensive jobs waiting for you. I have priced it very fairly because I am very motivated to sell. I have already done the major work, and with maintenance and good quality oil changes, these engines have been known to be practically bullet-proof, and go for 250-300k or more! Just look at how many classic Benz's are still out there!
I am asking $7900 OBO and have the clean/clear NJtitle in hand. If you are interested in the car, feel free to call me at any time day or night with questions. My number is 347-668-5286. I do not like to discuss price over the phone. It's not fair for the seller or the buyer. Please don't call, text or email me "What's the lowest you'll go?, What's the least you'll take?, What do you need to get out of it?", etc. I'll ask you "What's the highest you'll go?" The price is already low and more than fair considering it's condition. And please do not send low-ball offers. I will not respond.I am motivated to sell and willing to negotiate, but I don't desperately need to sell and will not give it away. If you would like to negotiate, come and see the car in person, and make an offer with cash in hand, face-to-face. I welcome and encourage inspection. Bring a mechanic and come check it out PRIOR to bidding. Thank you.
