2006 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C55 AMG Description

This is your chance to own what may be one of the best sports sedans ever made.
She has been babied and garage kept by her owners. The last owner is a good friend of mine and car nut.
I'm selling her as I've got too many vehicles at the moment. She's in exquisite condition and still has that new leather smell even as she comes up on 100k miles.
Regularly serviced at the prompted intervals by Mercedes PROs (while I owned her in the Bay Area she was serviced by ESR BMW and Mercedes in Redwood City, and in LA she's been exclusively serviced by Mike at Yohanns on La Brea).
Valve covers were replaced in Oct 2013. This was more of a preventative measure as the PO wanted to take advantage of the extended warranty. Alternator was also replaced in October 2014 at around 80k miles, also under warranty. New tires were put on in Dec 2014, and have about 60% left. They are staggered wheels (the rears are wider than the fronts). Last Service A was done in June 2016. She's due for her next service in 6600 miles. Brakes probably have 40-50% left on pads. I'll throw in a used set that still has some bad left as well. Rotors are still ok but will realistically have to be replaced soon. The right rear passenger window switch needs to be replaced (window still works fine from driver side window control) but you can't put the window up and down from the right rear passenger seat. Air blows ice cold. There's light interior wear (e.g. around cupholder lip) that comes with a 10 year old car. Leather and suede-like inserts are in great condition.
Someone recently did me the nice service of scratching my trunk lid and front bumper. I will upload these photos after I put some touchup paint on this week at my body shop.
This car RIPS and sounds glorious, but it's time for her to find a new owner. Great entry model AMG or German Sports Sedan. I'm selling because I bought a newer version of the same car. That's how great it is.
A few mods:
  • The wheels were powder-coated black and have some fade.
  • The calipers were painted AMG red and are SEXY.
  • Swapped out white corner lights for the stock yellow lights.
  • Lorinser windshield spoiler and trunk lip spoiler are also on this car.
  • Tinted windows, and tinted brake lights.
  • Clear Corner Markers
  • K40 Radar Detector built into gauge/dash housing, with remote and front/rear sensors. I believe the front sensors may be out on this one though.

Just reregistered. If you're looking at this car you know what you're getting. I can make myself available to show it.
You'll be hard pressed to find a better C55 AMG in SoCal!
Carfax: I have a print out and can send as requested. Ebay won't let me post the link.
Please note that the odometer discrepency was a clerical error done by the DMV, and only reflects their typical incompetence, not any actual issue. When my friend bought the car the CA DMV made a mistake and marked theodometeras broken/not exact mileage. He went back to the DMV and they corrected it. Theodometerwas never broken (it's digital).
Compare to the M3, or Audi S4 and S6. Those kids pale in comparison to this car.
Drive this car and enjoy your work commute again (or any commute!)
