2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E550 Coupe AMG Styling - Facelift Description

2010 & 2015 ? This is a 17k mile 2010 E550 coupe with the AMG styling package that has a 2015-2017 front end installed on it. The technical differences are minor, but the major plus is this 5.5 Liter V8 is MUCH more reliable than subsequent versions with turbo, etc. Quite a few people have done this conversion in Europe, but this is the only one in the US. It would be pretty straightforward if the headlights were the same, but they are not (HiD->LED).
The 2010 coupe looked the same for the 2010-2013 model years. Like this

and now

The lower chrome (front lip) valence is black due to carbon fiber wrap, which can be removed easily. The grill is the 'black edition' that was only sold in Europe. The rear valence is real carbon fiber.

The german market plate and frame can come off, however there are high power thin magnets behind the
german plate that allow you to easily place the US plate over it so you don't get a ticket while parked.

Plate on car

There is the US market front license frame included that will mount on the bumper, but it is standard black, not body color like this one.
For Reference this is the 2014-2016 NON AMG front bumper

If you are familiar with Mercedes there is the Datacard that specifies all the car comes with from the factory. The
link to the pdf of this datacard is here. Keep in mind this car has all options except 4matic.
It has the latest DVD Navigation update (takes 4 hours !). The car was $70000 new and is like new still.
