2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 144 WB Cargo Description

I'm selling my 2015 Sprinter which I have made considerable upgrades to. I've turned the cargo area into a mobile office, or living room (my friends call it a man-cave). The rear cargo area is thoroughly insulated, and has been tastefully lined with pine. Two zone LED lighting so you can be comfortable with all the doors closed, or at night. The air-conditioner unit in the back makes it comfortable to work in or sleep in (please note the hammock in the pictures is not included in the sale price).In case you're wondering my hammock has been tested to 250lbs in the back, and yes, I have slept in the hammock while a friend drove.The adrian steel desk has lots of storage which locks to prevent shifting while you drive. There are even WeatherTech floor mats in the front!
I have often considered converting this to a Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van, because they cost over $100K new, and I could deck this out for less than $2k. Add a nice granite counter top, with a flush mounted sink, an under the counter refrigerator, a drop down bed, solar panels on top, and you're traveling in luxury. The drawers provide ton's of self-locking storage, and are way nicer than anything I've seen in a motorhome. There is easy access to electrical (see picture 11 - wood panel under desk) under the desk for easy access to add fridge, pumps, inverters, solar, sound system, etc. I've even considered installing heated wood flooring.
There are two minor dings. One is to the lower panel of the driver's side door (see picture 18), which I received a quote to fix of $700, but decided against fixing. The other is a minor scrape to the passenger side front bumper, which is really minor. Otherwise this van is in perfect condition with less than 30,000 miles, and would make a kick-ass camper or mobile office!
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van's 2-stage turbo diesel 4-cylinder engine is awesome. The payload is higher on the 4 cylinder and it gets approximately 18% better gas mileage than the V6, plus it's much quieter. The engine is designed to bring torque when it is needed while merging onto the freeway or off the line. Also, because of the 2-stage turbo there is hardly any turbo lag when you really hit the pedal hard. The Mercedes Bluetec diesel engine is one of the most advanced diesel engines with very low emissions, awesome fuel economy and peppy response!
