2004 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Description

You are looking at a rare 2004 Mercedes SL600 with the V12 engine.
I have owned a lot cars in the last 20 years and this is by far the fastest car that I have owned. Of those cars, this is the fourth MB SL that I have owned. It is also one of the most relaxing cars to drive. I hate to get rid of it, but kids and college are outweighing my addiction to cars. The things we sacrifice :). I bought the cars a couple years ago and I have only put about 3000 miles on it. I put brand new tires on it, had it fresh full service done on it and then put it up for the winter. The tires have less than 200 miles on them. It has AMG wheels...the exterior is a dark navy blue...the only SL600 in blue that I have ever seen. The blue is so dark that it often looks black, but in the sun you will see the coolest blue color ever. It has never been repainted and does have a few small rock chips on the front end of the car. The convertible top works perfectly, it does not leak at all, no issues. The one thing that I wanted to do, but have not is replace the rubber between the trunk and the rear window. The rubber has come off and the sliver of metal that it covered is exposed and has some visible rust on it. Easy fix, but I wanted to be sure to mention it so there are no surprises. The interior is in amazing shape and everything works as it should. From what I know MB did not make an AMG (hand built engine) version of this car in 2003 or 2004, but this does have the AMG wheels. It has a Renntech badge and I have documentation from Renntech as to the tuner they added by the original owner. Please do not bid if you can not follow through. I have had TWO people who bid on the car and then could not pay for it. Please make this an easy transaction. I am super busy right now and just want to see her go to a loving home.
