1900 Mercedes-Benz G-Class 230G 4-Speed Description

***Ebay Does NOT Recognize a Non-US VIN...This is a 1982 Model G Class, not 1900***Up for sale sale is this extremely cool 1982 Mercedes SWB 230G! This G Wagon was built in Austria, and was imported to the US when it was 25-years old. It is a 2.3L Gas 4-Cyl and a 4-Speed manual transmission. It is off-road ready with 4Hi, 4Lo, and Front and Rear differential lockers! Finished in Agave Green, this 2-Door G attracts LOADS of attention! It is highly original with most of its original paint still in-tact and very glossy, and the interior is original as well! That being said, this 230G does have some bumps and bruises as you would expect for a 35-year old Austrian built 4x4! Please refer to the pictures for the exact condition. It also has some rust showing in a few areas. The worst spots being on the tailgate, rockers, and passenger front fender well, but nothing structural or alarming. This 230G Starts right up and runs SUPERB thanks to a $5,000 engine overhaul and Megasquirt fuel injection setup! (receipt included!) It runs smooth and strong, makes plenty of power to carry it up to 100kph+ with ease. New spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor were just installed. No major oil leaks or any kind, only left 1 tiny drip while parked in our shop for a month!! The Transmission shifts well in all gears, no grinding, the rear brakes just received new wheel cylinders and the entire system was bled. The suspension also received a $2,400 overhaul just 3,000km ago by Mercedes. Receipt included! The wheels and 33x10.50 BFG MT Tires were installed a few years ago and have only been driven a few thousand kilometers. All lights, gauges, and switches work with the exception of a few small items. The radio turn on, but does not work. The gas gauge needle does not move, but the low fuel indicator works, so you still know when it's time to fill up. All other lights and gauges work great! This 230G is road and trail ready! Offered on ebay with NO RESERVE this 230G will sell!!
