2002 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Description

Selling my mercedes benz. This car was bought from my brother who u fortunately was in a flood of some sort in florida. Car has some issues due to this but it does run and drive. I will try to explain the best i can. First defect noticeable is the acceleration is that it has a 1-2 second take off after press the gas pedal. There are notifications on the dash board that come on including a few light bulbs even though all lights that the notifications screen is detecting are still lit, and esp is on that screen and airmatic check which is also intact. The air suspension has a contol to lift up and down that works. Sometimes the check engine light comes on, the radio volume isnt working and the hood latch has to be pulled then propped when opening the hood(the latch thats under the driver side steering wheel by your foot is the latch im referring to.) sometimes the transmission takes about a second after being shifted in to park or reverse to move. But the main problem i have out of the car is that something is draining the battery when i leave the battery posts hooked up after two or three days. So to avoid boosting the battery off everytime ive been unhooking the negative cable after driving to save battery. Now the exterior has some sctraches and faded parts due to the flood damaging. Overall i can say the car will run and drive and blow cold air and heat but does have these issues which are due to flood damaging please assume and expect it before buying.
