This 1999 Mercedes Benz SL500 is the crème of the crop when it comes to luxury, dependability, design, comfort, and drivability. In 1999 this was the flag ship car of the Mercedes Benz line. 18 years later it still turns heads going down the road. This vehicle only has aprx 85,970 miles on it. It is a 3 owner vehicle and the miles reflect it was driven 4,800 miles per year. It comes equipped with the factory hard and soft top. The hard top comes off as it is supposed to. The soft top makes a noise when the button is pressed, but will not come up. I have not had the top looked at by a mechanic just selling it with the soft top inoperable. The overall condition of the vehicle isexcellent for the year. It does show minimal signs of normal wear for a used vehicle. No dash lights are on and the vehicle does run and drive perfect with no known problems. The vehicle does come with the factory car cover. These cars are known for running forever. The 5.0L engine is known for its life longevity and the one in this car is proof of how good they are. The engine and the transmission in the vehicle run out and shift great with no problems. AC blows cold and there are no dash lights on in the vehicle.Keep in mind this is aused vehicle and do not bid on this vehicle and thinking your buying something that isin brand new condition, IT IS USED.
