2004 Mercedes-Benz E-Class AMG Description

I purchased this car about 3 years ago from a friend andcar collector in San Jose CA and meant to use it as a daily driver. At that time there were 14,900 miles on the car. I didn't get around to driving this much and only added a little over 3,000 miles while I have owned it.

There have been no modifications or alterations. The original supercharger clutch in these made a chirp when it kicked on. This is totally normal.

I would never sell this but we are moving out of state and I need to sell 3 or 4 cars that I can't take with me.

These images are taken of the car without even being detailed. It is always kept this clean and looks just as pristine on the under side.

The car is essentially a new car and still smells new inside. The car has never been wrecked or painted on anywhere. It runs, shifts and drives like a new car & everything works with no error codes. The logos were removed from the trunk because I like the plain jane look. You can easily stick the emblems back on the trunk if you want to.

The last owner waxed the inside of the wheels if that tells you how well this has been cared for. The car has not been smoked in and I don't allow any food or drink either so there are no spills and no crumbs in the seats or anywhere. I even make my kid take off his shoes when he is along for a ride, which isn't often.

The car has been stored indoors since it was new and not exposed to sun or elements. It has never been driven in snow or salt and only in the rain once since I've owned it.

I did add new tires, which have about 1,000 miles on them. I did keep the original tires. There are very minimal marks on the rims, which are only from the tire shop mounting tires and mostly on the passenger front because the original tire was really stuck. There isn't curb damage on any of the wheels.

The oil was also changed about 1,000 miles ago.

The brake pads and rotors are original and still have plenty of life left in them.

I inadvertently left the lights on for a few minutes when the car cover was on and the head light bezels stuck to the cover and left a small mark in each bezel. I have brand new Mercedes headlight assemblies that will be included with the car. You can change them out or just resell them. Those were around $1,000 for the pair.

This E55 AMG is as close as you will find to a perfect car from 2004 without a single ding or scratch.

I would like a prospective buyer to come and see the vehicle in person or hire someone to do an independent inspection before I let the car go to a shipping company.

There are 2 major import dealers here in Springfield IL. Isringhausen Imports and Roberts Automotive. I assume either of these places could do an inspection but don't know what they would charge.

I collect afew cars and have used a shipping company called Show Car Services from Troy MI & was really impressed by their service.

While taking pictures of the car, a lady drove around the corner and said "now that is mother f$*#ing clean"! That pretty much sums up the car.

There is a local airport if you want to fly in and drive home. I would be happy to provide a ride from the airport or you could uber or taxi in.
