Up for sale is this Beautiful 1998 Mercedes Slk 230 Convertible. The car was purchased new by a woman who lived in Wisconsin and Texas. She was between both states as a Snowbird. She always serviced the car at Mercedes and I have the service history on the car. Car fax certifies miles of 113,269 and no accidents or issues. She was a good friend of my mom's and my parents fell in love with the car and bought it from her. They have owned since 2013 and it truly has been an amazing car. This car show's like a 30 k mile car . I don't think you will find a better example of an slk that's been this well cared for and serviced.
The red paint is 100 % Original and it looks amazing. Very glossy and no scratches or dents. Just a few minor stone chips that were touched up. Overall the car show's very nicely. The Under carriage is spotless and there is nothing rusty. The car never seen snow or bad weather .
The black leather interior is Pristine. There is no wear to the seats. The carpet is like new. The door panel's are perfect. The dash is pristine. A common problem on SLK cars are the center Console peeling . This one is perfect . It has carbon fiber trim that looks amazing . Overall the interior is Stunning. The headliner is Brand new .
Inside the car you will find everything to be working . The car has every option offered in 1998 Including factory phone. Am/fm Stereo with cassette and 6 disc Cd changer in trunk. Power window's both work and the top goes down in 13 seconds and there are no issues with the top or leaking Cylinders. The climate control switches from heat to Ice cold Ac. Nothing more to say other then everything works how it did when new.
Mechanically the car is amazing. Again the First owner babied it and always serviced the car at Mercedes. Since my parent's have owned it my dad did the following service. New tires, New cross Drilled rotors on all 4 wheels with ceramic pads. Transmission filter was replaced with correct Synthetic fluid. Fresh rear diff fluid. engine oil was just changed and always Mobil 1 . The engine bay is show quality. It looks new. Nothing oily no leaks no issues. The car starts right up and runs super smooth . Hit the gas and feel the supercharger push this car with ease. It's a awesome car to drive and is very powerful. These engine are very reliable and have been known to hit well over 300 k .
