This comes with the Mercedes Benz transferable CPO extended warranty. This cost me $2499 at time of purchase. It covers any mechanical breakdown 100% of costs, labor and parts until August 17, 2019. Yes, that's right, all correct. No mileage limit and it covers every little thing. Also, until September 11, 2017 all regularly scheduled maintenance is covered. This car has had the 50K mileage service done already, a $2500 service. These MBs recommend changing oil every 10,000 miles. Hard for me to believe but that is what they do. Now, this CPO plan must be transferred private owner to the next owner through Mercedes Benz. If you buy a car through a delaer they are reluctant to transfer it (imagine that).
This car has had the driver seat completely replaced as it was showing small signs of wear. It's less than a year old. Both front struts have been replaced on the car. It is a common problem with these models. If you test drive one watch out for a subtle grinding feeling when turning when in reverse.

This can come with the Warranty or not. It is up to you if you want it for $2499. The CPO extended warranty doesn't start until midnight August 16, 2017 and lasts for 2 years. I think it is quite the deal as it covers everything you can think of.
