2007 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML63 AMG Description

For sale is a 2007 Mercedes ML63 AMG. This is the Mercedes midsize, luxury SUV crossover - similar to the ML350, but VERY different.
First, here is some information on AMG (if you don't already know about this special line of cars by Mercedes):
AMG is the high performance division of Mercedes-Benz. AMG independently hires engineers, manufactures and customizes Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles. Mercedes-AMG is headquartered in Germany - this is where these engines are hand built. AMG follows a "one man, one engine" system, where a single AMG technician assembles the complete engine and is therefore responsible for everything from the installation of the crankshaft in the engine block to the assembly of the camshaft and the cables and oil fill-up - his signature is then put on the engine plate (see pictures of the plate on this vehicle). It is said that there are only 45 AMG technicians in the world.
Now, on to the features and specs of this ML63:
- 6.2 liter V8

This is a truly luxurious yet incredibly capable vehicle. The original sticker price was just under $90,000. There are some important considerations when buying an ML63 with over 100,000 miles. Mainly, some key maintenance should have been performed to ensure that the vehicle will not give you any surprise repair costs. I have addressed these issues by having the following repairs / preventative maintenance completed in the last 30 days:
- Valve cover gasket replaced. These gaskets are known for eventually deteriorating.
- Replaced oil temperature sensor
- Replaced oil cooling seals. This was leaking oil, and after extensive exploration for the leak, was identified as the cause. Also a known area of problems and has been addressed.
- Power steering pump / reservoir replaced. Also a known issue with the ML63.
- Emission risks addressed - replacement of evaporative emissions charcoal canister. Vehicle will come with a recent emissions certificate valid for use when you register (avoid the lines at the emission testing facility).
- Front air adjustable shocks / struts replaced. Again, another issue is the ultimate failure of these expensive parts that provide the amazing ride and ability to raise and lower the vehicle based on your road conditions.
While it is impossible to predict all future issues, I have addressed the known sources of problems in order to have a safe and reliable car for years to come.
The exhaust is really awesome, too. It has a deep, throaty V8 sound that pairs so well with the acceleration. Yet, while driving conservatively or on the highway, it is just a pleasant background hum.
This 2007 ML63 AMG is in amazing shape for it's age. Most cars have many more dings, scratches, and flaws than this one. This is truly in excellent condition inside and out.
